I didn't think he had a poor game at all myself mate, thought he gave us something we haven't had in a long time and that's natural transition through that central channel. I dont think we win last week without it. Thus saying earlier he impacts games.

Sure, no need to rush. Take all the time the confines of the deal allow, but if he continues on his current trajectory - then its a very good value deal.

Dont think its a good comparison between him and Gomes, Gomes was believe it or not one of the costliest players ever to play for this club, about 12 mill a season all in or just shy. This lad will be coming in at something like £5 mill.

Just thinking to myself this morning deals like Garners, N'Diaye and this lads are incredible good value investments in our much maligned recruitment.

A poor game? Seriously? I thought he was fine - nowhere near poor by our current standards. Saying he was amazing would be an overreaction, but calling his performance poor is just as much of an overreaction imo.

The only criticism I can give him is he took a couple shots when he should’ve passed. He grew into the game though and was arguably MOTM, second only to Beto.
It’s a subjective game isn’t it but I didn’t think he impacted us a lot with or without the ball (bar obviously the two key moments!).

He’ll grow into it no doubt.

Didn't impact us a lot? The fact he got a assist means he did impact us, the goal was more a case of being in the right position but at least he showed composure and finished it!. I thought his link up play was a good sign, protects the ball well a bit like richarlison used to, he was far from poor, think you're being a bit too harsh on the lad

"All Moyes says is "Hola!""

Next time, Charly, always tell your mummy before you insult the former Real Sociedad manager's command of the lingo.

Alcaraz only played last time because Doucoure was banned.
Doesn’t mean he didn’t do well, just that he was rushed into the side to fill a gap.
He will need to get his fitness up (probably not far away), but there are things around tactics, set plays and positioning that he will need to know before he is fully integrated.
It won’t take him long, will probably be used as an impact sub for the first month or so until he gets used to the rest of the team.

I’ve said besides the obvious impact on the game.

We were lucky to win that, no doubt about it. I think he’s got far more ability and quality than Doucoure but we did look more fragile than we have previously.

There’s the other side where he’s good at football and Doucoure isn’t

I don't think he should have been dropped by any means but Doucore was obviously starting in this one because United are clownshoes and prone to mistakes. I do think Charly should have come on much earlier though and to be honest, even if I see Moyes's thinking here I completely disagree with it. We scored goals but prior to the goals Doucore was taking up all of his teammates space and stepping on their toes. I felt like Charly and Beto built up good chemistry last week only to have it bulldozed here.
