Think he will find a home here after a nomadic start to his career. Right type of character for us, and we actually play a system using his preferred position which is not so common in the modern game.

We might have something here, by no means a flawless performance but an assist and Goal, can ask for more than that. Had two crucial moments to get right and he did....

Doucs obviously offers more work rate but I have my doubts he would have weighted that pass to Beto or kept that chance down to win it....

End product is so important though. You look at the good teams and all of their forwards score and get loads of assists. He's got more goals and assists than Doucoure, Harrison and Lindstrom put together all season.

He looked energetic tonight, but that may have only been due to some of the other players having played the full game in the derby.

Having said that, I would definitely have him starting ahead of Doucouré against Man Utd. Clearly wants to make things happen, but could do with a little more composure at times.

Objectively he didn’t really play that well, looked a bit leggy and definitely not quite up to the pace yet.

Crucially though he had actual quality to affect the game, we’ve lacked that for so long.
