Chanting for Charly.

Personally I don’t rate him. Not from the start but he can sometimes have an impact as a sub.
However, he might be worth a chance because something has to change.
Our build up play is so slow.
By the time we get the ball in the box the opposition have it packed out.
If I was to play Alcaraz it would be with an instruction to quicken the tempo, I’m convinced we see a different team then.

He’s bang average and is not a centre forward so don’t see the point. He gets better the less he plays, the creativity isn’t an issue it’s the fact that our forwards can’t finish which puts the rest of the team under pressure, Alcaraz does nothing to fix that.

You quite like him than

….to allow Alcaraz the freedom to play, I do think we’d have to change the balance in behind. KDH does so much behind the ball that Alcaraz can’t do.

Maybe then play KDH in his preferred position as an 8 who plays next to him is between Garner, Gueye, Rohl or Tim.
And if our Centre forwards fail again I would seriously consider having Alcaraz as a false 9, then you could fit one of the other midfielders in, losing patience with our failing forwards if I'm honest Eggs.

I think if he’d managed to turn his break on Monday into the goal it should have been he’d have more chance of starting than fans chanting its name . It wasn’t probably up there with Barry’s shot for missed opportunities.

I like Alcatraz but if he wants to change Moyes mind he need to capitalise on what are unfortunately very limited opportunities.

Sorry but this isnt realistic.

Hes performed in games in the 10 and then used wide until benched.

KDH hasnt been effective but starts every game - contrast with Alcaraz.

McNeil has been shocking but gets brought on ahead of Alcaraz.

Theres zero evidence to show Alcaraz would play at 10 if he'd have hit a 30 yard screamer last game.

Could you highlight any game where hes started as a 10 that youve seen which has led to you not rating him?
