Changing the team EVERY week

That's some stat.

Still think it can't be constructive to chop and change a side so much, every game.

I think it's one of those things where there's no hard and fast rules.

There's advantages to being able to rest players and advantages to building up a strong team used to working with each other.

You just have to do it right. And we're currently not doing it right.

It's not very telling though. He might have changed just 1 player each game, or could have named a totally different XI.

Rotating wingers for example is often a pretty good practice, but in a 4-2-3-1 the middle of the attacking 3 should be a key player. Yet it's a different person their every week, or sometimes there's no one there as we change formation. I think that's a contributing factor to our lack of cohesion.

Changing the odd player like Ferguson did, while keeping the spine of his team completely in tact wherever possible, is a world away from changing your entire central midfield every game tbh

i) sack the clown
ii) pick the best 11 and play them till they drop. We've got 9 games in 51 days if the poor darlings can't do that then get rid of em all.

due to cup games postponements and such, we had to play, once the clocks went forward, ( last Sat. in March - until early May )
Sat, Tue, Thurs and put our own posts up and go to work ( shifts )

I'm not calling you a liar, I just don't believe you.

I've said this previously pal.

I've never had it so difficult to predict the starting 11.

I don't think the manager knows his "best" 11.

nor what to do with them if by chance he did stumble upon the actual 'best 11' ( mind you that's the actual best 11, not what he thinks is his )
