Changing Point of the season

I'm gonna say the City game too.

Big Denis deserves a lot of credit - he showed a lot of effort & heart during that period and it transferred to the players. The City win was huge for us at the time and it was visibly galvanizing.

Results wise probably the fluky winner against Swansea - deflection off Ossie. The other reasons came later.

14 wins 10 draws 5 losses (which were, understandably - losing at Spurs & (a little unfortunately) at home to Arsenal, the 2 losses to The Sh1te (one with a scratch team) & the other one was in the windswept game against Bolton.

A few things for me, the new players, the dact we got the goal scorer we had been crying out for two years, Pienaar, i also think we are fitter then most other teams which tells in the final months of the season and when games come thick and fast.

The transformation is just amazing though isnt it. I would love to see what the score would be if we played bolton at home now...another 4 - 0 probably!

Probably the Gibson strike v City for me, but Stracq's work-rate runs it close.

Looking back, the result that really broke the camel's back for me was the Bolton home game. That was one of the worst Everton performances I've ever seen, felt so sick after that game.
