Change Penalty Taker?

On the face of it Leighton is boss at penalties - 13 out of 14 slotted.

He missed against Man Ud and cost us a point. Todays pen was utter tripe that should have been saved. Have a trawl though youtube or your old season review DVDs, I found at least 3 more that were as gash as todays. He rarely hits a sweet penalty right in the corner. Maybe he does an ace "with the eyes" thing that fools the goalie, or maybe researches whch way the keepr usually dives ro something I just dont have confidence in him at the moment.

We have loads of players that take a good pen so is it time to move aside?

I love Baines but I think he has ridden his luck and it will bite us again soon.
 

Perfectly reasonable suggestion and if I was for changing then would nominate Eto'o.

Best penalty taker since Rhino.
 

NEA as long as hes scoring them, but in general his set pieces have been shocking for someone with a left foot like that

Well actually Falcao scoring cost us a point.
 

Deadly serious. His first few pens for us were awful, a lot of luck. He was then good for a while but looks shaky again

So you wanna sacrifice over 90 something percent consistency in accuracy for more pleasing on the eye penos? I kinda see where your coming from. Your a very intelligent lama.
