Since Mikel got injured the football we play has been mundane to say the least. Neither Cahill or Neville could be described as visionaries. So it becomes down to young Jack (feed the jack and he will score) Rodwell to boss midfield seeing as how Fellaini is completely off his game.
So. Why can't Peinnar, who ran the show against Brazil in the confederations cup, get a game there ? He was that good that Kaka had to resort to hacking him down .
It worked with Mikel when he got brought into the centre.

Cahill needs to be played just off the main striker . When played there Cahill is easily our most influencial player bar none . We need a creative midfielder very very quickly .

Never mind all that, we are powder puff in that area of the pitch. How about someone with presence who can impose themselves? Bullied again yesterday Everton...by a visiting team...and one put together by footballing 'purist' Gomez.

I think its fair to say Moyesy has been looking for someone who cam cover for Arteta (prehaps even replace him) for a season or two now. Wouldnt surprise me to see a late move for someone of this ilk and even another winger.

Jacks ability is limitless, he still has a few rough edges to knock of his game though, needs to do the simple better and make more of an impact on the game and his of the ball game could be improved too. However you couldnt expect anymore from the boy though, a matter of when not if the vultures start circleing though.

Wouldnt surprise me if fergie had a large chunk of the Ronaldo wedge with Jacks name on it.

I would agree with that mate, it was the same last year against certain teams.

There's no doubt about it, we're going to lose Rodwell to a richer club sooner or later unless of course we can ( a ) find that elusive billionaire buyer and ( b ) hope that Platini's scheme to keep all the silverware in the trophy cabinets of Man Utd, Liverpool, Real, Barca, et al fails.

Daves right . Yesterday our midfield were at times non existant . Wigan just walked right through us . Not good enough .

We are desperate for a top class defensive midfielder.
Neville is not good enough and Rodwell isn't experienced enough.

I don't see a future for Cahill.
He is way down the pecking order of midfielders when everyone is fit, and not as dangerous infront of goal as he once was , so we are accomodating him at the moment.
He can play behind the striker very well, but once we get creativity back in our midfield, then surely Moyes will play 4-4-2, and if he does that, Cahill will be rotated at best.

Thats a big statement three games in mate it usually takes Tim a few games in to find form and to be fair he has been playing deeper. You only realise what Tim brings to the team when hes not in it.

Come on wool, he missed a chance yesterday, that must surely mean we sell him to City.

Pienaar & Cahill are my two favourite players . Ive actually met Cahill a few times and he is a smashing bloke which is more than can be said for a few of the others who shall remain nameless . I would never sell Cahill to those mongs . When he is on his game there is no one more effective for us than Cahill. For making THEM react like this . RESPECT
