Jags and Funes Mori is my preferred option as I just think they're the better defenders at this moment in time.

But I think we'd see a less error prone Stones with a keeper behind him he wasn't afraid to pass to.

Tricky call, Stones isn't in great form but he has the pace to counter Agguero. Jags and Mori are playing better but Jags is still getting his fitness levels up but he's the most experienced. I dunno who I'd choose.

If we win he chose right, if we lose he chose wrong. lol

Stones to replace Besic in midfield

I was thinking about Stones playing in midfield today. He excels at all the aspects of a game that should be secondary for a defender. Great technically, beautiful passer, good awareness. He's got the skills to make a great midfielder.

I know you're saying it tongue in cheek and it's not the time to experiement in a game against a team like City but it'd be interesting to see him play in midfield alongside Besic sometime.
