Why the heck was he allowed to take the first penalty given he has hardly played this season and was only on the pitch fifteen minutes or so before the shoot out?

He needs to return to Turkey and he'll be fine. I thought they were supposed to pay good wages over there? They used to at least, that's why van Persie and Adebayor went over there. Somebody get phoning up all the clubs over there and ask if they would like a national hero and genocide-supporting striker.

Supposed to be one of the best assets of his game the ability to score from the spot. Can tell he didn’t have the confidence when he took it. Has hardly played and was probaly shell shocked he was stood in front of the opposition keeper with the ball.
