Bournemouth in his first season, Leicester, Palace and Watford last year.
ok so 2 games in 1 and half years he's had an impact in when he's started
would you then not agree he's better coming from the bench?
Bournemouth in his first season, Leicester, Palace and Watford last year.
must have started abaout 2/3 games
what two Liverpool back up strikers? solanke who is also terrible and a kid, who else?
Zlatan, mate he doesn't even play for united anymore, he played abar half a dozen game
I don't recall disagreeing with that. I'm just saying I agree with Papa Shango that people try to make out like he's worse than he is for some reason.ok so 2 games in 1 and half years he's had an impact in when he's started

was talking about last season rainman, hence cant really compare his goals record to other strikers this season since its 1 game in......

Take this post for example, you've decided to use a timescale to make his stats sound worse. It doesn't matter whether it's been spread over 6 weeks or 5 years, he can only impact games from the start if he starts them, so the only relevant stat is that he's started 12 games. You're also saying he can only have 'had an impact' if he scores and we win, despite your point supposedly being that just scoring isn't enough and he needs to contribute more. You're trying to move the goalposts because you want to show him up as being rubbish, it's weird.
Niasse isn't a classically good footballer, but he's effective. Tosun is a better 'footballer' but lacks some of the things which make Niasse as effective as he is. In an ideal world we'd have someone who combined the best bits of both of them (maybe DCL could develop into this) but for now we can try to utilise the 2 of them at the right times to get us where we want to be.
oh well done mate im glad you told me
hence why I said llorente only started 2/3 games, were only 1 game THIS SEASON in so obviously I don't mean this season you plant pot
and Zlatan played half a dozen games, hard to do when he doesn't play for united this season
Llorente played 16 scored 1
Solanke played 21 scored 1
oumar Niasse played 22 scored 8
id argue hes better than at least two teams above us options
add in chelsea spent 30 on giroud and arsenal spent 55 on lacazette a 13 million pound signing behind them is hardly surprising
i dont think hes a world beater, i think hes good enough as an option from the bench from us. maybe start cup games etc
s the exact thing I've said from my very first post
you said no top 6 team would have him thats the point i was disagreeing with, i think most teams in the prem could do a lot worse than have him as a second choice striker
Spurs would definitely have him as folly to Kane, over Llorente and Jansen, let's put it that way.
He is our first choice and will doubtless be judged on his goal output. That is likely to be around the 10 or 12 mark if he gets the games. After Lukaku left we no longer have or are likely to have a prolific goal scorer. That sort belongs in the top club group of 5 or 6 which we are clearly not. There are no out and out goalscorers coming up through the ranks, otherwise we would have heard by now. I don't know how much it would have taken to prise Vardy away from Leicester, even if he wanted to come which is unlikely. That chance if there ever was one has passed.
