Absolutely wincing at this. I don't believe you are representative of all the Turkish people but this comment certainly puts a sour taste in my mouth.

I'm not sure what levels of hate and prejudice you must have against 'Der Fatherland' to suggest such 'hate crimes' against one of their sportsmen.

I think you need to take a long hard look at yourself...I'm shaking here.

Totally different types of player.

Do you want someone who runs around a lot in a struggling team..does better than most and scores the odd goal.

Or do you want a finisher?

I want players who are going to help us get into the top 6. The gulf in class between Tosun and the quality strikers they all have is there for all to see.

Bizarrely I can only compare him at the moment with Paul Rideout.

Honestly, I've watched a lot of West Ham lately and he's impressed me every time. Reckon my judgement might be clouded by how bad we are like. I'd probably think Altidore was a good option if I started watching the MLS.
 
Tosun is not worse than Arnautovic. I don't get this thread, what are we expecting? Are we expecting three strikers who can all score 25 goals? Because not even City have that, hell, even real Madrid don't even have that.

I agree we could do with a real top class striker, I hope that's on the list, a pacey one at that, as that'll give us three/four good options with pace, a target man, one with good hold up play and one who's just an utter nuisance.

But it's not the biggest priority I agree, but I think it's something that needs sorting this summer. Stop making out cenk is bad though and a waste of money. We need a proper quality striker to improve, bloody Arnautovic is just another player on the same calibre of Keane and Bolasie who haven't improved us.
 
He's been one of the few positives for me this season. Definitely knows where the goal is and will only get better with time and settling in. Him, Walcott, Pickford and Coleman have done well. The rest have been gash and if they're shown the door won't be missed based on this season.
 
Let's get a side that has the ability to get over the half way line before we start discussing the merit's/faults of our striker. If Arnautovic is boss at bringing down 75yd balls and taking on a back 3/4 on his own, then bring him in.
