Indeed Turks coming here and bad mouthing about Everton is not cool at all. They are aware of the fact that manager atm is not ideal for them and he is gonna leave soon. You guys (I'm Turk too but not blabbing about it all the time and I am not Cenk centric like you guys) should stop joining this forum just to say that. EPL is waaay ahead of Turkish league, the pitch, the stadium qualities, the refs, the broadcasting all are top notch. Besiktas had a great CL season but that doesn't mean Everton or any non-big6 teams are sh.t.

Cenk sacrificed CL to join an EPL team, that should tell something. Anyway Everton used to struggle this season, manager changes and all but now finally they seem to find the solution for Tosun and he seems super happy and proud as he told to press. Besiktas/Cenk fans stop coming here to create a bad atmosphere really, don't expect to see very friendly responses from Blues after harsh criticisms or biased judgments like yours. Just looking into Everton's history will do, for you to avoid stupid conculusions for the club, as a kid growing up in Turkey, I always knew Everton and the club was always next to likes of ManU and Arsenal. (not really Chelsea or M. City back then, no Russians or UAE guys to be found) Come on now guys.

Congrats, you just earned a UK citizenship. Come to office :dance:

Calm down !! Words dont kill anyone...

Well I mean being in the mighty epl allows us to buy your best player.....

How is the Champions league by the way?
nothing much just eleminated to bayern with a red card after being leader in the group stage :p maybe next year it will be better (or worse)

also why you go full attack mode after some turkish guy says “everton spends lots of money and had a decent squad, your manager must not be like fat sam and his relegation club mentality.”
It’s the most obvious problem this team has.
Don’t act like rich spoiled kids when someone gives his opinion on how everton can run for top 4.

It was a joke mate lol The majority of us know we are crap, only a madman would want us to keep Allardyce on, we are crap.

:D
kev and his anti-turkishleague propaganda made me hysteric
Hardly propaganda - the full truth of where you actually sit in the general scheme of European football has been told by Bayern - I’m looking forward to you getting smashed again on Wednesday.

Tosun sacrificed cl to play for Everton and the epl - think about that - for him it’s a dream come true

It's not the words, the way you write them. We could use a little bit more kindness, when you tone it like you own the place, next person who answers gets aggressive as well and then it turns into a flame war.

People here already know the problems of Everton and they welcome any criticism, they are the biggest criticizers themselves. So just tone it down a little bit, just an advice.

Let me make this clear to start with that I’m not pro Big Sam and would be happy if he was replaced in summer.

BUT the normal lot on here who have to bash Sam at any opportunity who have said Cenk had to play straight away are wrong.

Cenk in the video that Everton just released in his own words said he was struggling to adapt but now feels a lot fitter/ stronger to cope. Also that the cultural changes he’s also had to adapt.

IN HIS OWN WORDS. So maybe some credit should be given to how Sam/ coaches have managed this situation after all.

Don't you think that increased remuneration had anything to do with it?

Undoubtedly it did but like most sportsmen he probably wanted to test himself at a higher level. If he succeeds here then he may look for an even higher level, however from initial impression he's probably reached the pinnacle his ability will allow. So he should embrace being at the mighty blues and help the club to reach the next level at which point he will be replaced by a superior player .

To be fair, I'd struggle to adapt if I moved to Bootle, and I only live 25 miles away.

I think next season he is really going to make a name in the prem.

Agreed, when he first joined Blues, asked about aims, he said winning cups with Everton and going deep in Europe. Him being a man to watch at EPL and Everton's rise will go hand and hand for sure. Next year's coach and additional transfers, vision of the club will decide the destiny of all that. I definitely think and hope he will be a symbol guy for Everton fans after next year. He will be loved.

So in January, when we really needed a ready made striker, Allardyce / Walsh, went and brought a striker in, who would need two months to get up to speed.

And you want to give him credit !!!!!!!!!!!

Imagine where we could`ve been in the league, with a striker, who was up and running / ready ??????

Allardyce gets credit for his first month and after that he gets Jack S**t.

*non of that is having a go at Tosun by the way.

So first if all name me a striker we could of bought in to make impact straight away? Realistic suggestions.

I can only think of one, Batshuayi. But he went to Dortmund & that’s a better move for him then coming to Everton.

Nearly every foreign player regardless of position needs time to adapt to premier league. The ratio who hit ground running vs those that take time is heavily weighted in favour of needing time.

Good management. If Fonseca did it I bet you’d not be complaining

Wayne Rooney is off Everton penalties and Cenk Tosun should be ON them

Turkish striker Tosun has an outstanding record from 12-yards.

Sam Allardyce confirmed that Wayne Rooney is now off penalties at Everton in the wake of his latest miss from 12-yards against Brighton.

But the name of the man who should be stepping up from 12-yards is obvious - and it’s not Leighton Baines.

Since missing for the first time in a Premier League match at Old Trafford in 2014 he has appeared less enthusiastic about taking the responsibility from 12-yards.

Cenk Tosun, however, clearly wants to take them.

And what’s more, he’s very, very good from 12 yards.

The Turkish international has taken 25 penalties in a career stretching back to November 2008, and has scored 24.

His only miss was almost six years ago, when Istanbul Buyuksehir goalkeeper Eduardo saved Tosun’s 88th minute. But Tosun had already scored earlier in the match to help his Gaziantepspor side win 2-1.

Since then Tosun has converted 12 out of 12 for Besiktas, including one in the Champions League against Monaco - and also scored two in international friendlies for Germany U21s before attaching his international allegiance to .

Prior to joining Besiktas he also took penalties for Gaziantepspor, scoring five.

Blues boss Sam Allardyce also namechecked Gylfi Sigurdsson as a potential successor on spot-kick duties - and his record is also outstanding.

There is a doubt over his fitness at present with the player having a scan on a knee problem picked up during Saturday’s victory over Brighton.
