We had one of the quickest players in the divison up there in Theo and decided to play him as a auxilary right back or fly the ball 40 yds over his head all game. To utilise pace someone has to actually play a through ball, all we did was hoof it to a maasive grock defender all evening.

Felt like he only had about 10 or so touches in the game, the ball rarely got there. Id like to actually see him get a decent chance to strike the ball so we can see what our striker actually has.

He is ready. More than ready. It’s just that we have realised we have once again made another poor signing and won’t admit it. The scouting team need completely replacing. And Walsh needs to leave ASAP. I’m still unsure who has the final say on these deals but once Sam goes, the manager must have 100 percent final say on who signs and who goes.

Exactly this. If he doesn't know where he needs to be how do our back 4 know where to hoof it forward to?

I think there is 3 scenarios for him in the future;

1- he scores goals and proves his worth till the end of season without any tactical support from fat sam, to make him actually score. then maybe everton embrace him.

2- he get lost in this isolated off-ball striker mentality and can’t settle the tactics. pressure from fans rise more and more. they loan him back to besiktas in the summer. (if new manager don’t have any plans on him)

3- he plants new hair seeds on his head and get a newer look for next season. fresh hair,fresh start.
