I started the Rangers thread off a good while back to ease the congestion in the Scottish thread,perhaps with today's news of Billy McNeill's demise it is time to start a thread for all things Celtic, I think there are enough out there interested to justify it.

Well said ABFC for all the rivalry with the Gers it's a big slice of Scottish football history that's left us today and one of their own in regards to Glasgow.

I watched the '67 EC final in its entirety only about 3 years ago. I couldn;'t believe the level of football played for that time, and how much Celtic absolutley dominated the match. They should have won by more, in fact.

Not giving any credence to the rumours, but wondering what other Celtic folk are thinking about the prospect of Mourinho coming in (supposedly spoken with Dermot Desmond). Personally would be incredible for me, a lot of folk seem like they’d rather hold onto grudges from 2003 than see Celtic with a genuinely elite manager. Nonetheless, seems like it’s nothing more than rumours and highly unlikely to be true.
