Decent little pre-season we're lining up here. They're all really thoughtful, well placed tests for the new season; domestically and abroad.

Should be our pre season schedule all sorted then, can't really complain with the teams were playing.

I get no proper tour this season means we'll miss out on cash and won't get the chance to promote Everton in another country but we will spend a short period in Thailand. With us having Europa League this season and it been a World Cup year I really don't think it's matters if we didn't do that much traveling in the preseason.

Bit odd that Rovers are hosting it but nice way to end the pre season campaign with Portuguese, Spanish and German opposition. Add to that the derby with Rovers and a chance to scope out our first league opponents and we should be set. Am I right in thinking the U21s start the first of 3 friendlies for them tomorrow?

Is it Southport tomorrow is it?
