Have been to the animal eye hospital in Frodsham with my youngest cat.
Basically, she has a tumour in her left eye and the are going to remove it (the eye) next Friday.
It is going to cost me close to £1000 and then I have to fight with the insurance to see if they will cover most of it, excess is about £150.

That's my plan for a season ticket on hold. Watching Everton can make me angry, my little cat doesn't!

Anyway, do any of you guys have experience of a pet losing an eye and does it affect their lives much? My cat is only two and a half. Having her eye removed means she could live to a good age.
Leaving it could cause the tumour to spread to her blood stream and kill her. :(

My mum had a cat that lost an eye, made no difference to the cats life.

It'll be worth every penny. You can get a season ticket next year.

Best f luck, and I hope she goes through it.

Thanks for the words of advice boys.

Cat had her eye removed yesterday. She is a bit quiet at the moment and I am not sure if she is blinking, or winking at me!

good lad and wish her all the best.
my dads a dog trainer we have about 14 dogs back home i have mine (12 yo collie) with me here. we have had to spend alot of money on different operations for our dogs. if anything happened to my dog even at a very old age i would be happy to go into debt even do pay whatever it took to try and get her up and healthy again, a dog or cat, or whatever animal you have, isnt just an animal, it is a huge part of the family

Thanks for the support mate, appreciated. Yes, I would sell my car if I had too to look after the pets.
