Serious question we have a Cat which is getting old. I used to be allergic to cats when I was younger but this cat never bothered me in the past

However at the moment it gets everywhere, on the bed, sleeps on towels, etc its moulting all the time cat hair every is everywhere ( Oh and it and keeps ****ting in the house)

Of late

My eyes have been itching

Have had a cough

Itchy rash on the skin

Basically I cant think of any other reason than that this must be caused by cat hair

Last week I used a towel to dry my hair which unbeknown to me the cat had been on I had asthmatic symptoms and could hardly breath for a few minutes

Anyway wonder if anyone else had experienced the same. The Mrs loves the ****ing thing but I am convinced that its got to go

Feedback appreciated

You got de-sensitised to the cat hair by not having any around your for ages.

You can get injections or tablets to help

This is interesting.

Me and mrs ijjy are about to get two kittens. Possible called Dixie and Dunc (if I get my way).

Anyway, I struggle with the same mate.

However, the following sorts me out every time:
- Tumeric tablets
- Anti Histimene (sp) one a day
- Lots of water.

No allergies!

Good luck!

Had the same reactions whilst a youth to fur+feather and high temperatures, but grew out of it after a few years. Check out the pills dude, but keep your eye on your temp

Ijjy and Bryan got it spot on earlier with antihistamines. Loratadine for non drowsy, cetirizine for drowsy-ish but more effective. Both readily available in most places

Oh my god. If having an animal means you have to take medication every day just dont ****ing get one. It's actually annoying what people do for their pets. My mates mum and sister are massive 'aaaawwww we have to have it now' types and they adopted this dog that got hit by a car and doesnt have control of its bowels anymore. It wears a ****ing nappy and ****s itself continuously. They have to change its ****ing nappy it stinks the place out. Infuritates me. Should have been put down anyway, but to have it and have it effect your life like that is just borderline insanity.
