Baines for 5/6 years was possibly the best full back in europe with possibly the only argument to that ashley cole before his legs went.

Baines may not be the player he was then but he has been back on top form this season, still one of our best players

Who mentioned not moving on that bunch? I'd have thought it was a 'given' to most sensible Evertonians? The point being made is if we really want to progress the 'stalwarts' have to be moved on too. SAF did it regularly.

Yuo're right...but now is the time to move them out rather than paying big wages for declining impact on the pitch.
