What would you do?

Said in the other thread...first and foremost the squad, not the manager, needs bolstering in January regardless.

While McNeil is out we have zero creativity. We've not real pace either.

Sticking with Dyche until it becomes untenable. Pull the plug of we end up dropping into the bottom 3.

But the difference between staying out the bottom 3 and dropping in is one game at this point so what’s the point in keeping him?

Agree re the players and transfers in we need creativity and pace (down the wings and the middle) but I’m just not sure whether even if we brought players in who met those physical characteristics, he’d play them in the right way. We also will only be able to do so much business this window.

Just got to hope that Fulham and Forest get the results we need them to tomorrow.

Therefore it's untenable now mate, his train of thought doesn't appear to be aligned with anyone else's. McNeil should have already been covered, common football sense.
Speed and creativity are low on Dyche's to buy list.

It's Thelwell's job, not Dyche's. We've only got Ndiaye that could play as that 10. But then we're still short out wide.

Dyche keeps banging on about the attack not being up to scratch. The rumour is Beto, Dom, and Harrison are up for the chop. So there seems to be movement.

No movement on replacing the management.

Yeah, 1 game. We're not an unsalvageable position. The issue at the moment is that we're looking at other results to do us a favour. The final cause of concern is if we do drop into the bottom 3.

It's not mathematically and the position in the league. It's untenable watching the bloody thing yes and no one is happy but it's not completely hopeless.

I mean, it's picking the right manager for the situation too. Southampton and Leicester for example haven't turned it around (Leicester have gone backwards). Only Wolves have an an upturn...but they have a decent squad with goals.

Like you im not convinced we have but the chances of players scoring would be dramatically increased if we could create a genuine opportunity in 90 mins or even effectively cross the ball.
I'm sure they could.

I'm not sure we have a squad who can create chances often regardless of set up or mentality.

Last year we did make chances and missed them anyway.

The whole thing needs gutting really. There are about 5 players worth keeping

I listened to the blue room podcast and the point that resonated with me was the manager had basically said he can’t get any more out of them and his tactics reiterate that . Well we’ll likely get relegated if these continue so I’m not sure we’re left with much of a choice .

I rate Delap but is a front 3 of Delap , broadhead & szomodics significantly better than what we can put out ? They may be below us , and we battered them , but they look more threatening that’s for sure .

No it's not better than ours at all. What Ipswich do have though is options, proper squad structure with back ups who know what to do when they need to step up. Most clubs have this, we have not had it for years.

We need Garner and McNeil back pronto just so we have some different options because right now our best available players are playing and they are still not good enough.
