I'm sure they don't but I've no doubt they appreciate you giving them some shoes.

It depends, if they are too worn out then I just toss them in the trash. But if they are still in an okay condition then I donate my old clothes and shoes to a local women's shelter. Or to the Goodwill.

If I put something in the trash it is because it is not longer useful. At home I try to reduce waste to the maximum so I recycle, compost, reuse and repurpose materials and make the most of my dirty converse before I purchase a new pair
