Cheers mate. Only been here for about 6 months. We wanted something a bit different with a big garden and views. it's mainly open plan with vaulted ceilings, and a log burner was a must. The only problem with the log burner is it's one of those double sided ones so the kitchen can get a tad warm if we're cooking when we've got it on like now

Looks like a very nice toasty fire. Here in Asheville the temperature has been between 15-21 degrees this past week so we have yet to feel the cold weather but next week we may need some heat.

What country do you live at @LouReedwalkonthewildside ?

Yeah you can't beat a real fire Sassy. I'm in England, I was born and brought up in Liverpool but moved out of the city about 20 years ago. It's horrible here where I live now, cold, grey, cloudy, rainy weather. it's 7°C here.
