Generally, I give him a lot of leeway because of the quality of the squad, but he deserves a lot of criticism for that today.

A narrow midfield when you've got a centre-half playing full-back doesn't make sense, and picking a dud like Iwobi in a position where he's completely unproven, basically because of an Instagram post, is just ridiculous.

Short at least 3 x players

I would not even have Delph, Sigs, Iwobi, Gomes or Bernard as a sub - no chance, they have no shown anything why they deserve to wear an Everton jersey over performances over the last few years and these blokes are absolutely raking it in. Gbamin is a crock but lets leave him in for now

So the total deficit is 8 platers.

If we did that I am fairly confident Everton would more than be able to compete in the top 4 at a minimum and more important WIN a trophy
