Guys he has 3 CMs in the team so his choice to play a midfield two was not forced on him. Yeah the team is weaker than it should be but he let a glaring weakness be exposed for the entire 90 minutes without doing anything. Not only that but it was the same problem United went at in the first game.

Some massive over reactions here. We got outplayed by a rapid team that has our number this season. Just because we won three games on a row doesn’t mean the squad has magically got 5 or 6 world class players added to it. It’s still an awful squad made even worse by injuries to our best players. We had moments in that game but Carlo can’t make Sigurdsson Iwobi and Bernard pass properly.
Our midfield bottled it so not much a coach can do.

Biggest challenge for Carlo is to change the mentality of the club - how many times in the games that matter have we turned in a decent performance in recent times. It’s like we shrink when it matters - first 20 mins was pathetic and they should have been out of sight.

Stop being an idiot. Subs don't pick themselves. These players consistently let us down and should be nowhere near the team. Even if its unproven kids like Gordon I'd rather see them than those who have proven to be complete disasters like Tosun.

They have our number because Carlo refuses to fix the issue in our system that they continuously exploit.
They're players are better 100% but that doesn't make it ok for a manager to not put together a plan that gives his team some semblance of a chance. Pure luck kept that from being 3-0 at halftime.
