So ive just found out the rat who is paid to look after my 88 year old grandad is giving him a slap.

Hes getting charged by the police and sacked but hes only gonna get a 6 month suspended at most, really wanna find out who he is so, you know where this should end up. But it wont, he'll get off scot free.slap on the wrist from a weak system.

If you’re 100% certain this happened then hunt him down and do everything you can to make him pay. Use friends, don’t go near him yourself.
You can’t put a price on what your poor grandad has been through so tell them to keep punching and kicking until they can punch and kick no more.

If I were in your position, as much as it’s sensible to ‘arrange’ for somebody not connected with you to pay him a little visit, I would be going round there and giving him a hiding he’d never forget. He’d get it so bad he’d crap his knickers every time a door slammed or a brake screeched.

Hope your grandad is ok after his ordeal. His trust in those there to help him will be shattered.
Let's hope that karma happens and that his assailant gets his in due course from whatever source that may be.

Very sorry for your grandad and yourselves can't imagine the anger you and family are feeling.

Well thats him finished working for vulnerable people through traditional care set ups, local authorities NHS, most private companies won't touch him because DBS checks.

Not so sure these days through direct payments method. And of course that's if he does get charged and sentenced.

So sorry about your Grandad. Make sure the employer or local authority refer the carer to DBS in Darlington which is the Barring side of Disclosures and Barring. Wont help your Grandad but they can ensure that he is never allowed to work with vulnerable adults again.
