Ok, did you go to Goodison the day Dixie Dean scored his 60th goal against Arsenal? Well its like that. ;)

No seriously.

Don't smoke or light a match.

Welcome latic, thanks for the congrats. You lot still miss Joe Royle don't you:lol:

Where you'll be is not too bad, should have a good view although I don't think it will be anything like a full house. How many of your are fans travelling down for the game?

thats mean

we got royle and p.gerrard from them (i think)

one of theirs also hit ryan giggs really REALLY hard in an FA cup game many years ago.

that player can have a medal.

i've been in the lower bullens and it was poor. the roof from the upper bullens came down so low i could not see the scoreboard. it was genuinly claustrophobic.

i guess row A is the front so you might be lucky.

I went to the new wembley some months back.

exact opposite. We had seats right at the top of the stadium, the furthest back at the highest point.

the seating is so steep and you are so high up, you could effectively commit suicide by hurdling over the first few rows and tumbling all the way down.

Its vertigo inducing horror I kid you not.

Could barely enjoy what I was watching due to the thin oxygen and the altitude sickness. And the fact the players were like [Poor language removed] ants.

These big stadiums are all very well but you see more of the game on a 14 inch colour telly at home than some of the seats in these mega stadiums. I suppose you get atmosphere - what little of it is left that high up in the stratosphere.

Oldham is where I found my fair bride. Oldham is the region of the NW I inhabited for several years, also being it is just down the East Lancs, I went to the majority of my Everton games when I lived there.
