Can We Really Moan?

Ralphie Boy

Player Valuation: £8m
Now for those that have read any of my posts will realize that I am one of the worlds best when it comes to moaning.

Whilst the game is going on, before and after when it comes to Everton my cup is always half empty.

Which brings me to the title of my thread and asks 'Can we really Moan'?

From the top:

Club management - we here so often how overseas supporters cannot get their hands on club merchandise (making a reduced income to the club). We often here of the ground breaking deals we make with sponsors only to be topped by clubs that should be far less attractive (making a reduced income to the club. New stadia (just won't go there).

Team management - So RM has had his first excellent season and is now suffering from second season syndrome, or is he? All other teams chase us down and we all complain that we have no pace, but he has decided to persist in playing old has been players and rewarding them with new contracts?

The players - where to start?

Howard, too unreliable and no competent challenger.
Coleman, not attacked a defender all season but when he does it at the barcodes beats the man crosses and we score, learn the lesson.
Jagielka, too old.
Distin, too old.
Baines, should now be moved into attacking LM and give Garbutt what he deserves.
McGeady, squad player only to be introduced last 10.
Barry, put out to pasture, replace with Besic.
McCarthy, learn how to defend.
Mirallas, keep doing what you are doing.
Barkley, play him in his most effective position and leave him there.
Lukaku, play to his strengths, then if he still can't score drop him.

Kone, impact sub.
Osman, squad player with last 10 minutes.
Hibbert, out to pasture.
Stones, simple, when fit plays.
Browning, on bench but given game time, he is one for the very near future.
Oviedo, don't know what he has done to upset RM but RM needs to get over it and start using him or sell him.
Garbutt, see above.

I don't want to go too far into the squad, we all know the weaknesses and what needs to be done.

The club is stale, from the creaking stadium to the creaking players and wholesale changes need to be made, are we in a relegation battle - yes, will we go down - no. But we cannot go forward the way we are being run from the top to the bottom it stinks of mediocrity coupled with an arrogance of excuses from Howard telling us not to boo the players (whilst they have a very merry Christmas on over inflated salaries), to a manager bemoaning referee decisions and individual mistakes that are being forced on players playing his style which we are not equipped to do.

So, back to the original question 'Can we Really Moan'? He'll yes!!!!!!!!!

Club management: It's Kenwright's fault.
Team management: It's second season syndrome.
Players: These cowards need to start rewarding a manager who's gone out of his way to protect them.

You have a pithy way with the truth.

And the manager?

The teams current plight is down to Martinez, the end.

So Martinez gets the credit for last season, but not the blame for this season. Very selective toward your argument I've noticed.
Well ok, if he gets the credit for last season what are we even debating his stature as an Everton manager for now then?

He's quite obviously someone who commands the highest respect.

Let's just relax and see how he gets us back up the table again.

That's a deal then.

Deal. As I've said I hope you are right as I get no pleasure seeing the team languishing in the bottom half.
