US treasury yields falling. A big win for the long term fiscal outlook of the US. Now it's time to increase manufacturing jobs for good, honest, salt of the earth blue collar workers.

Maybe the EU should put in place their own tariff's on imports from outside the EU. Oh wait, they already do.

For most of my life the left have been in favor of some forms of protectionism. Yet for some screwed up reason as soon as Trump does it the left are suddenly all free trade zealots.

If Le Pen was a better politician she'd release a simple statement on the trial verdict:

'fight, fight, fight'.

She still has an appeal pending. Would also be appropriate to release the statement then. I suspect the verdict will only increase the support of her party with the French electorate.

Where can they get the natural resources they would need without any invading Canada and Greenland and starting World War III?

I think you mean the 19th century robber barons. The 18th century was 1701 to 1800. If you don't know when the 19th century was I suspect you know little of what caused the Great Depression. It's a debate from economic history that is far from settled.

I'd have the Robber Barons back any day of the week. Some of the greatest men in US history.
 
Bernie Sanders arguing against free trade and outsourcing of US jobs. Now he's against tariffs because Trump has introduced them. This is exactly why Trump made huge inroads with blue collar workers. Workers now abandoned by Bernie Sanders.
