Can we integrate all these players?

I hope not but on the evidence of two performances, we are struggling.
Stoke will be a better version of them.
Sandro was shut out by them because they packed the defence. We are not pressing from the front and movement forward from defence was as bad as in the Martinez days.
Early days and time to make changes, but that performance was dire.

I can't really disagree with anything you said there mate, because it was indeed like watching a side put out by Martinez when we were at our worst.

In life, I'm a realist, but I still wear blue tinted specs when watching us and am able to see some good things amongst the dross displayed against the Slovaks, so remain hopeful.

Early days but Klaassen really strikes me as a Cahill type player. Playing him in a midfield trio with Gueye and Schneiderlin will leave us short on creativity. Rooney up front is my personal nightmare for the upcoming season. We badly need a striker in.

We are missing someone in midfield that can spot and make a pass - playmaker if you like - and a forward who can hold the ball up and allow others to play off him and a decent centre back to play alongside Keane.

We also need a right back but it seems that RK is going to wait for Seamus.

I thought they were perfect preparation for the Stoke game. We tried two small forwards against 9' groks and strangely pumping the ball in the air didn't work. Quick passing kept going astray by inches and even Keane would have been found out with his too close to the attacker back line passing. Gana had a bit of an off night, both Williams and Jags looked uncomfortable on the ball, but otherwise it's taking shape. They will work it out, the skill is there......

Indeed, I don't think you can have both those centre mids in one team and expect to create anything, nor can you have both Klaassen and Rooney in the same lineup.

The big difference is though that the Martinez team was 6 months into a season, this one is 9 days off the season starting. I see the last 2 games as what we we would have looked like if they were friendlies. Winning both of them wouldn't have caused a single batted eyelid as pre season friendlies.

The purchase of so many players during this transfer window is an indicator of the [Poor language removed] state that the idiot Martinez left the club in........ 'What a manager'.

..need to find the right blend. Sometimes you stumble on it following an injury or suspension. The other thing is that players need to bed in, I remember Fellaini looking like a £500k player when we first bought him.

Its not working at all.
Players are not gelling.
The opening fixtures have been tough, but the team balance is not working. Too many look lost.
