At the request of @Groucho we are starting a new thread to see if it can be done without cheating. @Groucho felt really guilty for his previous cheating and insisted we try again.

Here are @efcdavid's original instructions.


I genuinely believe this CANNOT be done due to the nature of football fans - I believe someone will ALWAYS mess it up just coz they have the power to do so.
This is the test: to get from 1-100 with no people breaking the chain by posting anything other than the appropriate number.

For example, I type "1", the next poster types "2", the next poster types "3", etc etc until 100 is reached.

There must be alternate posters, if anyone posts a wrong number or a multiple number the next poster must start from 1 again.

If anyone breaks the chain, by posting anything other than a single number following the previous one, then the next poster has to start from 1 again also.

Even if two of you decide to do a 3am raid I still think someone lurking will spoil it.

last count was 52?...we're half way there then groucho can bury it coz I get the impression he's none too keen and I don't think he'll be havin with us going back down, 100, 99, 98 etc but if we keep it civil you never know.
