SO boss, I believe there's a chance that the 80's can happen again and we build something great. Whether we qualify for champs league or not, I pray we hold on to Martinez, Lukaku and bring a couple more quality players in - then every team in the league will fear playing us.

I would love it if Arsenal won all the games left in their season and we win all ours! That'd be 12 wins in a row.... incredible achievement.

But realistically speaking, the chances are Arsenal will drop one of their games... they have 19 wins from 33 - 57% win rate. So we'd probably can afford to drop one of the man city/ man united or southhampton game (those ones being the toughest in my book). 2 wins from those 3 games and I like our chances of making the top 4. Losing more than one of these and I think we'll hand back the initiative to Arsenal and I can't really see them slip up again for our benefit.

some great bits in today's papers:

With Wenger entirely absent, the crowd directed its distaste towards another Arsenal target. The former local favourite Mikel Arteta was booed every time he touched the ball for his defection to the Gunners.

It seemed a pretty pointless response given that, had he stayed, there is no way he would get into this Everton midfield.

from here

Their run-in on paper may look easier, but trust me, nothing is easy for Arsenal at the moment. They are playing like a team way out of form and lacking belief. They will certainly drop points, and I expect so too will we, but our destiny is now very much in our own hands.

Regardless of what happens this season.. after everything that was said, struggle to finish top 10 (my own beleif after the Cardiff draw) Might be in a relegation fight, players will leave and the club will fall!!

To be fighting for fourth, in a transition season? Is just FANTASTIC!!!

Its just a pleasure to watch at the moment. We're really competing at the top end at the moment, and with some style too. Even if we finish 5th or 6th its been a great first year for Roberto. Really enjoyed going to the match this season.
