Can Belgium do it?

I've spoken to a lot of people about Belgium's chances at Brazil 2014. A lot of them say the squad is too young to be real contender to lift the trophy.

I fully expect them and would personally love them to go all the way though. Anyone else agree?

They're the team I'm most looking forward to watching, like Chile from last time around but hopefully they'll do better.

S American team will win .......... I would bet that 3 SA countries will be in the semis with an all SA final .......... Brazil/Argentina/Uruguay for starters

Brazil wont win. i think Uruguay, if rat face can make Liverpool go from 7th 2 2nd (fingers crossed)

18 mths. ago I thought that Belgium might make the Semi's, now, not so sure I might put Spain or Germany ahead of them now to give the big south american teams a run

As a rule of thumb; for most world cups and euros for that matter, if the hosts don't win it then a team very close geographically does.

A lot of their key players haven't gotten so much game time this year. More gotten it recently but have a look.

Fellaini, vermalean, alderweireld, Witsel (played but in Russia), de bruyne didn't get time at Chelsea, no benteke, Mirallas coming off an injury, no real left back....


Think they looked better on paper before domestic season this year. Still expect them to make it out of group though

Not looked great in recent games, going there with such high expectations. Fully expect them to flop and be on their way home early.
