Player Valuation: £40m
TIM Cahill hasn’t been selected by Pim Verbeek for the upcoming friendly with South Korea due to a new foot injury sustained by the Everton star, it's been revealed.

"Timmy is struggling a little bit with a foot. It's a totally different injury [to previous foot injuries he's had]," Verbeek said today from Holland.
"At this moment it's better to leave him in England because I have some other players. He's okay but it's better to stay in England."
It's believed Cahill sustained the injury in recent days in England.

Same as last season really.Cahill got the blame, for our poor start, but saved our season later on.Firstly when Yabuku was injured and we didn't have any forwards availlable, he stepped up and provided the goods.

Later on in the season, when Arteta was injured, he fullfilled that position to the best he could. Problem is, he isn't a cm in the same mould as Arteta and will never be a playmaker, but he has been a very influential player for us in the past and will be that for us this season once again. No doubt what so ever about that.

Someone wishing an injury on him is simply unreal.:o
