Just read that he was picked up by Utd playing for Whiston Boys which is just around the corner from me, Think Osman,Hibbert and Gerrard played for Whiston Boys as well

Just read that he stood up to the Old Trafford hierarchy's lack of support for the families of the crash victims in the wake of the Munich disaster.

Didn't he score an important goal in Spain on the way to the European Cup in 68? Seem to remember Busby commenting that he had no idea why he was in their area but he was glad he was. Something like that anyway.
 
I watched Munich recently.. The one with David tennant in it..
Very naive facts wise I was about the whole thing as it was before my time..

The semi final second leg at Madrid. Scored the goal that sent them through to the final.
