Well that was a massive missed opportunity, they are terrible.

But it turns out that if you dont have a very good attack, if you remove your 3 best attackers, you also dont have a good attack.

A team that has scored 18 in 18. Has no attacking threat from full back and 2 strikers with a goal a piece struggling without its 3 main attacking threats this season? Who would have thought.

Forget the opposition. That line up would be right down there this season if played week in week out.

If you cannot beat Burnley itsva big worry!

….it’ll always be a struggle without our 3 best players. I’d expect with KDH, Ndiaye and Grealish in that team today we’d have won. Indeed, I think KDH could’ve made a huge difference.

It’s no surprise this squad lacks the depth to compensate the loss of those 3, we’ll struggle without them.

im fine with it not being a pen, but with the others being given against us it had to be

remeber they used to say about decisions evening themselves out over the season? the pundits dont even trot that out anymore, they know

who would have even took it? wouldnt have had much faith in anyone on the pitch. maybe garner
Pickford scored against Switzerland.

Talk me through Dwights game & I am sure an under 23 could not do better?
Alcaraz at least he tried sweat pouring off himself as he came off - Dwight never ran to break into sweat past it !
Needs selling, that team DM set out to play must have past backwards 100 times & not much difference when we have our star players- DM is on borrowed time IMO!

No decent full backs overlapping- DM knew this last June !

I do think we forget sometimes that this squad is still under construction, we are desperately lacking in certain positions and really the management have had only the one transfer window, last summer, and bought in half a dozen players.
It so lacks in certain areas which the faithful is well aware of. We're going to get results like this, but it's an improvement on recent seasons.
I Would hope and expect next season to see the side challenging and winning games like today.then Moyes would have had 2 further windows. So I can live with today, it could have been worse.

We are notoriously bad at patience as evertonians, with fair reason. But we have just had some of the worst few years in our history - if we can get to mid-table this year, that is massive progress. We will keep getting better under Moyes.

One swallow does not a summer make.

*Although it can make for a wonderful evening.

Why don't our strikers understand the basic concept of how to be a centre forward. You do everything possible to get yourself between the centre half and the ball. Ours just stand still and allow themselves to be bullied by average centre backs. Who just get round them and get to the ball first.
