I was showing my son how to build a snowman yesterday. I made the body, then stuck a head on it. He was confused because he thought it should have 2 body sections then the head.

Looking at google images, there appears to be a 50/50 split

What is the correct way to build it?

Depends on the quality of the snow I guess. If it is good snow, then 2 body portions then the head. If it is naff sludgey wet snow I would just do a single ball for the body, then the head on top of that.

Also, I think Calvin and Hobbes should be the barometer for snowmen:

When you stick the head on it where I live you get arrested

A single bodied snowman may have served me better.

By day two the upper torso had melted slightly from the bottom and moved, which had in turn dislodged the head making it almost rotate backwards at an angle.

By day 3 he had the full on JFK look. This was confirmed by my daughter who asked me why his head was back and to the left.

Day four and he’s not flying anywhere, it’s just one big blob, whiffing of North Korean Nuclear might.

Never mind that.
I want to see this snowman, preferably with an Everton scarf and hat on.

So ... pics or GTFO
