... With the new software, please reply here.

I'm anticipating general permission niggles - Not being able to do something as you previously could. Editing posts, adding polls etc.

@GrandOldTeam

No problem mate. I was asking more in hope than anything. It looks great on a tablet and the kids phones but I'm on a hand me down Sony Vivaz which does 98% of what I want. Doubtless I'll inherit one of the sprogs phones when they next upgrade. In the meantime I'll blame @Groucho.

It's usable but, for example, trying to reply to your post just took me back to the previous page of this thread !
In a fantastic display of 'blaming the new guy', I think you'll find it best to blame @the esk.

Thanks lol

I've posted in a thread started by someone I have on ignore.
How has this happened with the new software ?
I don't see his posts ? Let alone want to post in his threads ?

Yet you posted this in the thread anyway. You deleted your post (you often do this) a few moments later.

Still, it was a commendably troublemaking-free post. In fact, you were contributing to the debate, and I almost quoted it but thought you had me on ignore...

Conclusion: make love, not war. For worrying about the war in a place of love is just silly.

Dunno if it's been mentioned already, but in the pages which list the threeads, sometimes (quite frequently actually) when I hover over a thread link the blue page numbers don't appear. When I then click the link the page numbers appear.

Hopefully you get what I mean. I'll do a screenshot next time it happens in case you don't!

Cheers pal, are you sure those threads aren't single page ones?

So if you look in the Everton forum now, when you hover over say, 'Southampton Away', it won't show any page numbers because its a single page

As I understand, it does ignore posts (and pretty much anything else) by ignored users, but if you navigate directly to content authored by an ignored user, it will be shown. Also, threads started by the user are still viewable on the forum home page - I'm told this is unavoidable, though not sure why.

Anyway - getting really bored of the tedious bickering between you two. Pack it in, or you'll both be deemed high maintenance and I'll have to suspend both.

Nope.
(I often click ads too, just to help out :) )

It's not a huge problem but it is useful for jumping to a few pages before the last to catch up.

I browse as you do with new tabs, can't replicate it an would't have a clue how to fix - will make a support ticket an see if can resolve (hence screen grab being very useful ta)
