This on toast, achieved almost nothing here apart from one or two decent games in Martinez's first season when Baines was out. Had hard luck with the broken leg and good luck to him but it's been nearly 5 years of at best mediocrity.

Shame to see him go, but inevitable I guess. Had some great moments for us and could have been quality for us if it wasn't for Baines/injury. Good luck at Sunderland

Feel a bit sorry for Bryan really, looked an awesome buy when he got here. No manager was ever going to drop Baines though no matter how terrible he was on occasion, and the leg break while Baines was injured meant he never got a good run to establish himself.
Happy he's going somewhere dire where he'll play every week.
