Should be returned to its rightful owner Everton Football Club.

I'd like to see this returned and a spot found for it at BM.

Imagine how many of that lot have pissed against that in the last 132 years.
 
It's a chunk of scrap metal from what was ultimately a complete financial disaster of a ship seemingly designed and built just in time to be rendered obsolete repurposed to elevate some cloth.

If an organisation / club / business moves out of a site they're renting and opt to leave a metal pole behind it's not something you should worry about claiming back over 100 years later.
