Theres a enormously difficult balance, making them look right and not odd on your feet by wearing something that matches. But, heres the big but. You cant have the thing that matches be the exact same tone brown - otherwise your sexuality looks suspect.

Though, come to think of it. Putting this much effort into thinking about it has made my sexuality look suspect.

I think they look awful with jeans and much prefer wearing trainees. When going out, i much prefer wearing trainers then brown shoes, i don't know why, i just think that it looks awful.

With the correct clothes, certain brown shoes can work. Otherwise they look a bit naff.

I've worn brown shoes with both suit trousers and jeans in the past, although it's black shoes with suit at the moment.

I look uber-cool in brown shoes. it's the brown knickers that put my sexuality in doubt. As if it wasn't already.
