I liked Beckford. Obvs not a world class striker but scored goals in a limited Moyes team. Some crackers as well. But unless they're dixie Dean reincarnate, then don't ever go back!

I still think he was one of Moyes worst moments.

Buy a striker, he struggles when up top by himself but does alright with a partner. Play him repeatedly up top by himself despite him having his best games in the few moments you play him with another striker. Then sell him and spend 6 months with no striker at all.

He was limited, but I actually really liked the guy. Got the feeling he just loved being here. What a goal against Bolton by the way, I'd forgotten how good that goal was. Scored at Anfield too, therefore he'll always have a place in my heart
