I havent come back to gloat or take the p1ss. Firstly i thought the game was cracking, end to end and very tense, i have never been so drained after a game of footy. We started poorly both our fans and players, i think the crowds were tense and the players showed too much respect. You looked constantly dangerous and it was clear that we couldnt afford to give you too many chances. I thought Neville was brilliant, everything came through him yet we didnt cut the supply, Fellani is a handful although he fouls alot. Pim and Karliegh our centre halfs were class and Weston on the wing caused you problems all night long.
How did you find your trip to West London? I hope it was enjoyable (despite the result), the atmosphere was electric and Griffin Park was buzzing. Would you mind telling me the name of the song you were singing, it had something about Shaking Stevens in it?
We played Sunderland a few years ago in the cup when they were out of form and bottom of the Prem. Your not in as such a desperate situation as they were but they really could have done without a trip to Brentford and i feel that same could have been said for you. I fully expect you climb the table over the course of the season but this game was never gonna be good for you guys. It was a lose lose situation. When we missed the Penno i thought that was it, i thought we had blown our chance.
Good luck for the rest of the season guys, supporting Brentford means i no exactly how painful it can be when your struggling. P.S, I got Nicky Forster's shirt last night which topped off my finest hour as a Bees fan.
