After the incident at Claridges Hotel where Louise Burns was told she must cover her baby with a blanket if she wanted to breast feed I was wondering what the opinion on GOT was to it.

I imagine a large percentage of posters on GOT are parents. Would you expect your wife/yourself to have to go to a private place to feed your baby? Is it really such an offending image that it can't be performed in public?

Wife recently stopped breastfeeding our sprog a few months ago. The frequency at which sprogs want to feed is astonishing. It is non-stop for the first few weeks and very regularly after that.

Whilst it would be nice to find somewhere private to do it in peace, it rarely is the case, and you'll find most women are quite discreet about it. Let's be honest, it's their boob they're getting out in public, not like they're going to waving it in your face.

Shame on Claridges.

My wife has breast fed all of our kids in public and still does with the youngest. It'd be a pain if she had to go somewhere private when the baby needed feeding, as they feed all the time.

I don't see the issue with it, no one can see anything anyway, there is usually a baby's head in the way and they cover up once the baby is done. Shame on Claridges, why would anyone have an issue with it?

See i think it is natural and therefore not have a problem with anyone doing it round me or in any eye line.

i think the issue more is people staring and for the wrong reasons which would make the experience a bit sour for the mum in question. If everyone was normal minded i think there should be no restrictions on it as most mums arent exactly stripping off or flaunting anything and simply caring for their infant.

I can't understand why anyone would have a problem with it. It's a hungry baby who needs feeding, and that's how you feed hungry babies.

Anyone with a problem with it is basically saying they'd deny a hungry baby food.

Yes, it's the frequency that a baby needs to feed that most people don't understand. Most might think it's only three times a day! In England people frown on women's rights and liberties in other parts of the world, I'm amazed it is an issue here.

It's only a tit at the end of the day. People need to get over themselves.
exactly mate.

I remember going to the Dominican Republic in 06 ( all inclusive ) and even us lads had to have a shirt on when we entered the dining area, at any time. I mean seriously, you pay all this money to go to a place in the sun, to relax and whatever but they want everyone to have a shirt on in certain areas.
