You know i don't think it is too bad.

If we keep getting rid of 'eyesore' buildings we will soon get rid of anything that makes liverpool a cultured city.
I think anyway, there is so many pretty student accommodations you can have in the city before you have no personality.
i totally agree old boozers like that should stay but it is a flea pit . Far too many pretentious yuppie pubs popping up everywhere that are pretty soulless places if we are honest full of false Beauts .

But you still wouldn't get me in the penny farthing .

I Was reading about it earlier after you mentioned that. It actually sounds like the place wouldn't be missed and would be doing the city a favour. Stories of people shoplifting for hire on a daily basis

Even when I was lad on the ale I was terrified of that place ! Utter drinking den for balloon heads!
 

the royal court have been given a multi million pound loan from the council to buy the penny farthing next door and turn it into a youth centre.
