Car insurance is up on the 12th May, been with Admiral for 5 years with no claims, was £800 because my missus is now on it and she has only been driving 12 months, just had a renewal quote for £1500!
Literally just make prices up, and have the cheek to say don't contact us if your happy as it will automatically renew.

Dented door, skirt and front wing. The door is kind of wedged open now so it would be very easy to break in to. FFS. The cheapest body work shop can't get started on it for another 3 weeks so I'm not sure whether to just bite the bullet and go through insurance. I've only got a £100 excess and protected no claims, but I've never claimed on insurance and I wanted to keep it that way!

I'd love another car but this one has treated me very well, it has to be said. Only thing that's gone wrong with it in 3 years if the alternator broke.
