I have lost my work phone and my contract ends this week so they are going to ask for it back. My reference is already going to be a bit poor, but I can see them going a bit mad when I tell them I have lost my phone, and that will make the reference even worse!

I'm a temp contractor so references are really important to me, I will struggle to get another job if my reference is really bad. Anyone got any ideas that could help me?

Good excuses?

Ways of conning them into not realising I have lost the phone?

Fortunately I'm just doing some technical drawings. I was using version 2014 the other day, then switched back to 2013 (computer availability) and it wouldn't let me open my own files. Got round it eventually though just through sheer persistence.
 
So ive just been on my lunch hour...... well more an hour and 25 and i went out to lunch with this cute little thing. Now this girl is a newbie to the firm and at 11.45am this morning, it was all about getting to know her a little better, as you do. So off we went.

Now i got back to my desk and lets just say it went a little toooooooooo well. Im now currently staring around the room in disbelief and wondering what my next move should be. Christ almighty !

Me to the waitress ' So can we have 2 glasses of white wine please '

cutey ' You drink wine, i find that so sexy in a man '

Me ' Its not normally my first choice but.....'

cutey ' .... Lee, i have to tell you things might get out of hand, wine is my weakness ' *giggles*

Me ' Oh yeah, well we could change the order if you li...... '

cutey ' ..... will we have time for two glasses ' *eyebrows*

Me ' Oh [Poor language removed]... errrrrr yeah we will easily have time '

and now ive got a 2.30 meeting with this guy whose name always makes me laugh. Im so immature and now i have developed a habit of just smirking every now and then when in his company. Its one of those monthly meetings and im convinced he thinks i have a problem. I just can't help it...

His name is Gerard Beland and from the moment he introduced himself to me, i can't get bellend out of my head.

yeah so pretty much the usual....

Meeting with Gerard Bellend, few smirks and concentrating more on not laughing than the actual discussion.
