Can't even be put into words really, what they must be going through. Living in County Durham, there has been a lot of fundraising at my work etc for this little lad (and other kids fighting the same illness)

It's truly heartbreaking

So so sad - just wish there was something we could do for him. Seems like all treatment is unlikely to work. Will say some prayers for him and his family.

Having spent many hours at Clatterbridge this year it seems to me they are further away than ever to a cure for this disease. It is particularly cruel when you see young kids with it ,where is the fairness in that ?
If there is a god give this little fella and his family a break.

It can seem that way and it is a terrible illness. But progress is being made all the time and extra years are being won for families through better treatment and cancers that would have been fatal can now be completely cured. So whilst my poor neighbour died a few weeks ago at 42 (basically all her immediate family have died of cancer by 50) my father-in-law had really aggressive prostate cancer but was completely cured in 30 minutes by a laser wielding robot.

Good luck with whatever is happening with you.

The way Everton as a club and your fans took Bradley to your hearts that night was brilliant, the gesture your club made that night, the subsequent donations from fans and this thread is a real testament your City and your club. Huge respect from all at SAFC.
Think it's absolutely fair to say that young Bradley captured the hearts of the Everton fanbase worldwide. As a Dutchie, I watched the footage on the telly that night. It had me shaking and made me feel very humble. Simply had to donate after that and followed the fundraising on about an hourly basis for more than a few weeks.

As one of the greatest Dutch manager ever, Rinus Michels, once said: "football is war", but in times like this I don't think there's any other business in the world that unites quite like the footballing world.

Really heartbroken here. Feel so sorry for young Bradley and also his family, who'll now have to make decision that's really impossible to make. Poor little guy, how can life be so unfair?

Young Bradley Lowery the little 5 year old Sunderland fan who has (neuroblastoma) cancer may not see Christmas the poor little fella. Heartbreaking and puts everything in perspective about what we moan about on here. Devastating news for him and his family.
This is his address if anyone would like to send him what looks like will be his last Christmas card.

This is where we, as a club shine brighter than everyone else. Lets try and give Bradley one big smile from all us blues with some cards. We need to try and lift the little fellas spirits to give him the strength to get through Christmas x

Couldn't really put it better together than you, feel the same. Only difference is I am a Czech Evertonian. So so sad news. Absolutely gutted here...

There I go complaining about my lot, trivial day to day crap, and then I see this thread and it stops me in my tracks for what Bradley's family have to contended with. I hope they find strength from the folks of everyone who is supporting them at this difficult time. really bitch of a disease that needs to be sorted.

I just started a thread about this, sorry guys didn't realize one has already been done.. Lock the one I done Mods please
