A friend of mine just posted this video of the Bradford Football Ground fire (1985) on facebook. I have never seen actual footage of this before. So moving I just had to post. Families going to watch the football and then stuff of nightmares like this and what happened at Hillsborough, just really puts a lot of stuff in perspective. Look after yourselves and always tell those closest to you that you love them


WARNING - Please don't watch this if you are easily upset. It is is painful for me to watch, I just had to share with fellow football fans

Still use this up and down the country in fire safety courses, had to take several of them working at United. Disturbing stuff that obviously could have been avoided.

Don't watch that video, seriously... Watched it a few months back. Will haunt you.

Sometimes you don't need to see stuff.

It haunts me from Grandstand live as it happened.


It's filed in my memory bank along with things like the 2 soldiers that got murdered after turning the wrong way into an IRA funeral.

This^

It was like nothing I'd ever seen before or have seen since. Beyond awful. It's just incredible how quickly it goes up. Some of those fans barely stood a chance.

I was really in two minds whether or not to post. So tragic. Football is about putting smiles on faces, pride and passion...no one should have to go through that. Ever.
