I can understand the rescentment that some feel towards Matchroom's connection with StubHub, but other than that I personally think he's sound. His boxers all seem to appreciate what he does for them, his interviews always seem honest, candid and funny (he often admits he's a bit of a bellend, but not a "bad bellend"), and he doesn't shy away from the fact that he's had a very priviledged upbringing.

Most importantly though, more often than not his cards are decent. Him and his old man have brought boxing alongside a lot in this country and hopefully with their new DAZN deal things will continue to improve.

A genius at work tonight

I’ve gone for Loma rounds 7-9 and rounds 9 & 10

Linares is tough and class himself but he slows down a lot in the later rounds . He’s also without his trainer who has served him for haye last week and is now staying on In England to train others ( joe Joyce probably one of them )

My favorite boxer mate. I know we have seen some brilliant fights over the past 12 months but this will be special. What time is he fighting?

not sure on the ring walk I’ve set the alarm for half 2 but it’ll be a bit later than that . Not too fussed on the undercard. He’s probably the only fighter who I’ve watched all of his fights since turning pro .

that was odd, haye must have paid him well, his charge is taking on loma and he misses it!

Just watched the weigh in, can't see loma getting any heavier before the fight looking at his body, but would expect linaires to hydrate to a fair few pounds, he's going to have to make his size count to get near a win here against the most skillful man in the sport, I like linares a lot, but can't help but feel Campbell laid down a bit of a blueprint against even if he didn't quite get the win, hard to look past Loma, but what a tremendous match up this is, absolutely buzzing for this one
