Frightening K.O that. Didn't think Whyte carried that kind of power, maybe he doesn't and Browne was heavily fatigued but that's already a contender for K.O of the year. Browne was horrifying though, garbage technique and dreadful conditioning.

Very good punch from whyte and timed it perfectly. Whyte is a decent puncher and had AJ wobbled in the second round. Browne looked physically and mentally done at the end of the fourth round. He made a funny face has he walked back to the corner and suggested he was done. Gotta give credit to Whyte, he went out there and out on a good performance and was landing his punches with ease.

Just watched the card . Enjoyable all the way through for a change . Browne was awful and he looked like the ex door man that he is . I’m glad he is ok though as that was a heavy ko and beating .

People say Whyte is overrated I think different , I genuinely think he’s underrated.

Like you I thought that was a cracking card , thoroughly entertaining.

I’ve no idea what Browne’s plan was other than some Homer Simpson type effort to get Whyte to punch himself out . That was an a peach of a ko but I went from celebrating it to having concerns within a couple of seconds because it was absolutely brutal and I was worried he’d hurt him, so I’m glad he’s ok.

Like you I rate Whyte, I think he gave AJ a test and I think he has something about him . If they can make the fight I think it’s far from the walkthrough for wilder that many seem to think . I’m probably wrong but I can just see more we’ve seen already in Whyte’s future , I hope so .

Wilder will destroy him. Browne was a disgrace last night

Browne was poor , really poor which I said in my post as he had no tactics . Did you watch wilder’s last fight though ? His technique was woeful , I’ve read above that this fight looked like two fat blokes in a car park well wilder footwork was worse than dreadful, I’ll be honest on occasions it was worse than amateur and never mind Whyte sometimes wilder throws that right hand like it’s a pub fight .

Wilder can bang no doubt about that and he’s got heart but like so many heavyweights out there he’s hugely overrated . I didn’t say I thought Whyte would necessarily beat him but I do think people , like you , that think he’ll walkthrough him could be in for a shock .

Luis Ortiz would also destroy White. White is living off that one hook that shook Joshua.

He is bang average

Quoted you and asked you about wilder and his technique but realise we’ve already discussed it mate and you think he’s the best technical heavyweight out there .

I’m certainly not someone that hates wilder I just think some of what he does is poor , I’ll happily criticise AJ as well who in my opinion is also regularly massively overrated .

he is far from the best technical boxer... but he is also nowhere near as bad as you make out.

He has a very good jab. His technique goes when he hurts someone (which is quite often)

I don’t think he’s bad , he’s the world heavyweight champion and he obviously to be respected .

I’m talking specifically about aspects of his technique, his footwork and positioning on occasion appears genuinely poor, he’s in completely the wrong position to be throwing punches . That’s not me being a armchair critic but it’s him doing something your boxing coach would be telling you not to do at any level .

I’ve enjoyed watching wilder knock people out but Ortiz was his first real test and I was disappointed, I know he won but I didn’t walk away thinking yeah he showed me a lot more . All you can do is keep winning and he’s doing that but I think he’s going to face tests and if he doesn’t work hard in the gym at things he’s not doing right it’s going to cost him long term.

My point on wilder and you’re opinion was far from a dig it’s just I remember, when I remembered who you were , you saying he’s the most skilful heavyweight out there so it’s clear your a fan of the fella. For me he’s entertaining and he can certainly bang but at present it’s it’s technique and skill that let him down for me .

Whyte would be a competitive fight for nearly every heavyweight the only one who would school him imo would by fury .

I think he beats Parker , beats hughie fury too .

Wilder would be entertaining but I think he stops Whyte.

Luis Ortiz would probably stop him too .

But he’s far from crap and would test all the current top heavyweights ( fury aside)

That’s probably broadly my opinion , he’s just not a bad fighter . The Uk heavyweight scene at the moment has a strength in depth that I don’t think I’ve seen in my lifetime.
