Wait, I missed this. Quigg-Frampton maybe. But there’s no way you’re suggesting Eubank and Brook are better than Groves and Golovkin. Surely?

If brook was natural middleweight then he'd have won.

And despite Richard Woodhall trying to push the idea that groves put a clinic on last night it was actually pretty close, as the punch stats suggest.


Think 7-5 or 8-4 was about right but Eubank just lacked power.

Groves gets tagged like that by Callum smith and he'd still be asleep now.

Quigf fought scared. Don't know why, Frampton boxed ok but if quigg showed more bottle he'd have won easily. Scott also fought with a broken jaw for the majority of the fight.

The golivkin brook fight WAS closer than people were saying. Indeed if his socket didn't get broken then kell mightve won.

So not sure why you chose that.

Last night was odd, it wasn't the master class woofhall was trying to imply but junior didn't do enough.

When he did apply pressure then groves couldn't deal with it very well. Junior still caught him flush a few times. Think it was a lack of power that was his undoing.

Smith or Braehmer catch him like that then the ginger one will be kissing the canvas again.

Think in each fight I obviously identified the best boxer, was just unlucky with how it turned out.

Just watched Garcia vs Rios. Enjoyed the fight and was impressed with Garcia. Great knockout too. That was Garcia’s first fight back since he lost to Thurman and looked well in performing after a long time off.

Gonna watch Alexander vs Ortiz tomorrow sometime. I heard it was a bad decision, so will tune in and find out for myself.

I’m off for half term this week! The wife is in work all week and kids go back to school tomorrow so think I will re-watch some fights and boxing documentaries all week.

I’ve seen the Garcia stoppage but not going to bother finding the fight .
